Canadian Wide Science Fair 2016
The LEARN team was at Montreal’s Canadian Wide Science Fair in May where we presented “Making a case for makerspaces,” and welcomed students from across Canada to our interactive booth. It was three wonderful days of making with teachers and students.
LBPSB Summer Institute 2016
The LEARN team completed its’ 2015-2016 school year with two amazing days with teachers from Lester B. Pearson School Board on June 28 and 29th. We hosted six sessions over the two days “Making a Case for the Maker Mindset.”
CLC Conference 2017
The LEARN team lead a workshop at the latest instalment of Full STEAM Ahead. Teachers and coordinators across Quebec joined us for maker mindset exploration and participating in an artbot challenge.
ABQLA Youth Sector Maker Day – 2016
On Friday November 11th librarians from around Montreal gathered at LCC High School to discuss, share and learn about what makerspaces are all about. We focused on brainstorming ideas about how we learn, and looking at a growth mindset as
