The LEARN team was at Montreal’s Canadian Wide Science Fair in May where we presented “Making a case for makerspaces,” and welcomed students from across Canada to our interactive booth.
It was three wonderful days of making with teachers and students.
Chris Hadfield http://chrishadfield.ca amazing keynote to kick off the science fair.
At our workshop educators from across Canada experienced the maker mindset, building homopolar engines, complex machines, circuits, programming just to get a taste of the possibilities with creative spaces.
At the LEARN booth, students got to get their hands on ply-dough pianos and program our little robots.
