Key Offline Functions of the COSMO

The next two videos will focus on learning the different functions of the COSMO. We do recommend spending time reviewing the functions before proceeding to the next step.

Key CTRL + ALT
In order to load the paper, place the paper in the paper tray at the back of the COSMO. While pushing the paper in, press ALT and CTRL at the same time. The paper should load the top of the page.

KEY Ctrl + Alt

Load Paper

Key 8
In order to go down and bring the embosser head to the beginning of the line press Key 8.

KEY 8

Carriage return and line feed

Key 1 + spacebar
In order to go up one line press Key 1 and spacebar.

Key 1 + space bar

Cursor up or line up one line

Key 4 + spacebar
In order to go down one line press Key 4 and spacebar.

Key 4 + spacebar

Cursor down or line down one line

Key 4 + 5 + spacebar
Pressing Key 4, 5 and spacebar will indent the current line a predefined number of space.

Key 4 + 5 + spacebar

Tab

Key 1 + 2 + spacebar
Pressing Key 1, 2 and spacebar undoes the indentation.

Key 1 + 2 + spacebar

Shift tab

Key 7 + spacebar
Pressing Key 7 and spacebar erases the previous characters one at a time.

Reading Functions Transcript
Key 8 + spacebar
Pressing Key 8 and spacebar allows you to read what was just written. Pressing any other key will be return you to the place you left off writing.
