Presenters: Carolyn Buteau & Elizabeth Alloul from LEARN

This session focuses on how to engage students with hands-on learning be it online or in person. You will experience a distance “Brown Bag” activity: a hands-on activity where participants use readily available materials (ie. common household objects, recycling) to get into making, purposeful play and hands-on learning. To do so, you will be invited to use your head (cognitive), heart (passion) and hands (learning by doing) to get creative and make something.

Intended Audience: Intended Audience:  Intensive ESL teachers, Elementary ESL teachers (the content can be applied in a regular classroom), consultants, future ESL teachers or university students.
