This webinar shared insights from two ESL teachers committed to working toward decolonizing and Indigenizing language teaching practices. Jacqueline discussed how her teaching helps students to address essential questions within the context of Canada’s history of colonization. Ingrid talked about her work towards decolonizing ESL through her current doctoral research and how the plurilingual approaches can be used to foster linguistic diversity and support the decolonization process.
