Classes will be given online using the Microsoft 365 platform and we will be providing all the support everyone needs to make this a success. Teachers are ready to go and we hope our students will enjoy the experience. For some, it may be just a continuation from last year, while for others it will be completely new. The entire team here at QOA is committed to delivering a learning experience that will allow students to continue in their educational progression.
We will be updating parents in an ongoing fashion and welcome any and all questions.
We wish to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we start up. This project started up in the first week of September and there are still details to be attended to.

The Quebec Online Alliance (QOA) is a remarkable achievement as it marks the first time seven English school boards (CQSB, EMSB, ETSB, NFSB, RSB, SWLSB, WQSB) of the province come together to offer a unified online service to those students who have been granted a medical exemption for the 2021-22 school year.

Patrick Hall has been an educator for 25 years, teaching across Canada and in Asia. He recieved his Master’s in Educational Administration and Management in 2016.
In 2020-2021, Patrick was an administrator and builder of WQOA, the West Quebec Online Academy.
As students and families enter their second year of isolation for safety, a proper education in this dynamic setting is top priority for QOA along with being a light in the students day.
With a Bachelor’s of Education degree in teaching French as a second language to elementary and high school students, and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Christy Tannous has over 15 years of experience in education, and 8 years as a school administrator. Ms. Tannous prides herself on recognizing the value of every child while offering them the opportunity to reach their full potential.
