Constellations Workshop: Books for Activism

Books for young activists: how children’s literature can inspire students to make the world a better place. A workshop that suggests a framework for using children’s literature to deepen our understanding of social justice, equity and diversity issues. We will explore the Constellations resource and provide a list of exemplary books that can be used to discuss global issues at every grade level.
